Our antiques adventure began shortly after we met and married on beautiful Cape Cod, Massachusetts. We both shared a love for antiques and each brought to our marriage many family pieces. Our entree into the antique business came when Jodie took a job at an auction gallery in Harwich, Ma. That unique experience provided an invaluable insight into the antique world and led to us beginning our own business.

taught us so much. |
Family ties and opportunity brought us to Raleigh in 1997. Joe continued his work in the construction industry and Jodie pursued the field of design. But after only a few months, the antique bug was back and Jodie took space at the NC State Fairgrounds.

Many of our first customers remember our “Home Shows” which were held at our home in Oakwood twice a year until we opened the Capital Boulevard shop
Our business has continued to expand as we carve out our own niche in the Raleigh market. We pride ourselves on a really unique mix of products---great antique and vintage furniture is hard to find so we are on the road a lot. Most of our buying is done in New England and we try to have fun with our travels…..
We are on the road choosing, packing and bringing back our stuff!
Our list of contacts and dealers continues to grow throughout the Northeast as does our business. Our Fairgrounds location has expanded to 1100sq ft as we enter our ninth year.
We took our business (and our marriage!) to the next level in January of 2006 when Joe finally left the construction industry to join the antiques world full time. We opened our Capital Boulevard showroom and warehouse in February of 2006.
Fortunately we have received plenty of support throughout our endeavors. We are truly grateful to our family, friends, and loyal customers who have followed our progress throughout the years and we look forward to meeting more friends as we continue to grow……..
